Students in Mrs. Coleman's classroom are working on identifying statistical versus nonstatistical questions through fun activity. Shining bright daily⭐️

5th grade students in Mrs. Hunt's room are enjoying reading their AR books in cozy areas within the classroom ⭐️⭐️

SFC Levi Crider, National Guard, spoke to all CCR classes. He answered questions about basic training, job assignments, what it is like to live on base, the difference between active and reserve duties, and many other questions that students had. Students learned what each badge meant on SFC Crider’s uniform and now can look at military men/women in uniform and understand where they have been and what they have earned. SFC Crider even brought military gear for the students to try on and made MRE’s for the class to try. Students were engaged in learning about the military while having fun with hands on military knowledge.

Homecoming for CCHS!

Fifth and sixth grade PACE students at Weir Elementary researched the history and cultural significance of totem poles. Then, each student designed their own totem pole to represent themselves, their home, their family, their friends, and a favorite hobby. Awesome job Mrs. Ferguson! Keep making our students shine brighter daily⭐️
