2025 Homecoming Days!!


Mrs. Lisa’s and Mrs. Marina’s PreK students at Ackerman Elementary School have been learning how to be good friends this week. The students discussed good ways to say “hello” to friends by giving high fives, fist bumps, and hugs during group time. #teamAES






Mrs. Chase and Ms. Hayes have their 1st grade students working on identifying the number before and after. Students are also practicing with identifying number names and numbers!







Mrs. Talley did a great job engaging her 3rd grade students in identifying story elements!







Mrs. McGee's Kindergarten class had fun learning about the life cycle of a butterfly this morning with Pete the Cat. Then, they built their letter of the day into a caterpillar craft.

FCE kindergarten enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Jackie with the MS Museum of Natural Science. After learning about reptiles this week, they were able to see and touch an alligator, snake, and turtles.





To reinforce the sound of letter L, FCE kindergarten enjoyed making their very own cup of lemonade. They also had their own lemonade stand during dramatic play!
