
Mike Still, Haley Holland, and Thomas Hall from Sly Manufacturing met with Mr. Berry and Mrs. Johnson to assist in arc welding checkoffs. They also worked with students on ideas for a tractor project.

Fun times on Tuesday at Ackerman Elementary School with a Rock, Paper, Scissors Staff Competition for some team building!! The top 3 winners received gift cards for having the most beads at the end of the day! The staff had a great time playing and competing! #teamAES











***Little Miss Charger Pageant*** forms & $25 are due this Friday, Feb. 16th. Pageant practice will be Feb. 28th. Contestants will receive their fan favorite bag at practice. Fan favorite bags will be displayed in the foyer of the Ty Cobb on the night of the pageant (3/2.) Family and friends will "vote" on their favorite by adding money to the contestant’s bag. The contestant with the most money in their bag when the pageant starts will win the title of Little Miss Charger Fan Favorite, a trophy, and a gift basket. Contestants need their name on their bag. They can also decorate their bags. Some of the high school contestants put their picture on their bag and used markers, paint, and jewels to decorate. Please bring your bag to the pageant when the doors open (12pm), or you can drop them off at the high school office.

The staff at WES challenged each other to a game of rock paper scissors today and whoever won the game got the beads from the other player. Mrs. Fisher had the most beads at the end of the day and won a King Cake made by our co-worker Mrs. Canterberry.

FCE 5th Graders are working in groups competing to see which group can make their car travel the furthest powered by a balloon.

The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes at French Camp Elementary, along with their teachers Ms. Kylie, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Kelley, would like to send a sincere thank you to our principal, Mrs. Vowell , and our counselor, Mrs. Parker, for their outstanding leadership here at FCE. We would also like to thank the school board members, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. McDaniel, Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Ashford, and Mr. Huffman for their dedication to making the students' education a top priority here in Choctaw County. Mrs Hollie and Mrs Lewis’ kindergarten class at Ackerman Elementary had a Sight Word Super Bowl Challenge today. Students chose their team and earned points for their team by knowing their sight words. Mrs Lewis and her SanFransisco 49ers won with 25 points! #teamAES

Mrs. Christi's and Mrs. April's students at Ackerman Elementary School did a Super Bowl themed math activity!!! Students got footballs with addition facts that they had to solve together. They worked together with a partner or group of three to solve each problem and talk about how they solved it before putting the football with the goal post that had the answer to their problem. #teamAES
