Today, Mrs. Sanders’ class at Ackerman Elementary School started a unit in Google Classroom comparing and contrasting firsthand and secondhand accounts. Students could choose one topic out of three “Christmas Tragedies” to research:
The Christmas Cyclone of Darwin, Australia
The Christmas Train Crash of New Zealand
The Christmas Tsunami of Thailand




Mrs. Utley’s PACE students walked like Egyptians!!! 3rd Grade PACE presentations are a wrap, and they were AMAZING!! Thank you to everyone who came and supported the kids today as they presented their Egyptian Culture projects.




On Monday, December 9th, some of our FCE 6th grade students volunteered to sing Christmas songs for the residents at the Nursing Home in Ackerman. We are so thankful for students that see the need to visit and bring smiles to our older generation!

Mrs. Bruister’s 3rd grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School had a great medieval feast before their presentations. The students did a wonderful job!



Pre-K students at Ackerman Elementary School went to the library on Wednesday to look at the decorated Christmas trees and for a Christmas story.



Ackerman Elementary School staff had a great time on their “elf” hunt on Tuesday! Staff had to find the elf, snap a selfie, and then received a prize! #teamAES




The 2nd Grade PACE presentations with Mrs. Bruister’s class at Ackerman Elementary School went great. The students did a great job on their first presentations. A big thank you to each person who came out to support these kids!

Culinary Arts level 2 students Nicholas Studdie and Elijah Lampard competed in an Iron Chef competition as a culmination of their first semester. The winning dish (by 1 point) was Nicholas Studdie! #ChargerNation

CCHS Choirs will be performing their Christmas Concert on Thursday, 12/19/19, at 6:00 PM at Ty Cobb. Admittance is $5.00 #ChargerNation

CCHS and the CCJH Band will host a Christmas Concert tonight at 6:00 in the Ty Cobb Auditorium. Admission will be $2. #ChargerNation

Choctaw County School District will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow Wednesday December 11! This is due to the potential of hazardous travel conditions! Breakfast will NOT be served!

CCHS Chamber Singers performed Sunday morning, 12/8/19, at Enon Presbyterian. Great performance and wonderful service. #ChargerNation

Our students have enjoyed decorating the CCCTC Christmas Tree. Each program's students have put their own spin on traditional "ornaments" to deck the halls in our building! Stay tuned for pictures from each program's ornament making!

CCCTC Ag Power students have been busy working on fire pits and other projects recently!



Mrs. Catchot’s students at Ackerman Elementary School are doing an excellent job! These students are doing a wide variety of activities and are really working hard on their math skills.
