Supplemental assignments for 8th grade Science students:
Students will have assignments on Stemscopes they can complete throughout the week. The link is https://login.acceleratelearning.com/ or they can access it through Clever. Please log in like usual. If you have questions, you can email Ms. Stevens at aubreystevens@choctawsd.ms.

For dual-enrollment classes, Holmes CC is only closed March 16 and 17. Students enrolled in online classes should check their emails daily for assignments and more information so as to not get behind!!

CCSD will be closed next week to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. There will be no athletic events, practices or extracurricular activities of any kind. We ask everyone to exercise good hygiene and avoid crowds during this time. Stay safe and keep charging forward!


The softball games scheduled for today have been called off due to weather and field conditions.

Kindergarten students at Ackerman Elementary School did an amazing job on their spring program!





Ramzey Trice, a 5th grader at Ackerman Elementary School, saved his Charger Bucks to buy a Principal for a Day pass. He did a great job helping, making announcements, setting up an ice cream party, and dismissing school! Great job Ramzey!




Several Kindergarten students from WES were chosen to read a Dr. Seuss book to sixth graders. We are so proud of them and the hard work they put into reading these books. #weirexcellenceshines

Ms. Conerly’s and Mrs. McKnight’s Kindergarten class at WES had a great time this week reading Dr. Seuss’ books. They ended the week by four students reading Green Eggs and Ham to WES 6th graders and by taking A.R. Test on their books.




5th graders at Ackerman Elementary School were rewarded for great scores and growth on their Benchmark tests with lunch at Costa Mexican Restaurant.





1st graders at Ackerman Elementary School celebrated meeting their AR Goal with ice cream sundaes and a drink! Great job!
