Even teachers are silly sometimes when they come to work at WES.

WES Kindergarten read a variety of books about Thanksgiving and wrote what they were thankful for.

3rd graders at WES enjoyed reading interesting facts about Thanksgiving in their Scholastic News magazine.

Students at Ackerman Elementary School in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade were treated to ice cream from “Get Rolled”’on Friday! We are so proud of our students and their hard work! #teamAES

Mrs. Miller’s 5th graders at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time on their Thanksgiving scavenger hunt! #teamAES

Mrs Utley’s 2nd grade students at Ackerman Elementary School were able to “dissect” chicken eggs last week while learning about birds in their All About Animals unit. They definitely enjoyed getting their fingers all sticky while learning about the parts of a bird egg and how a baby bird is formed. They turned this activity into an art lesson and created unique art to depict what they learned. It was an Amazing Animal day! #teamAES
