Book buddy bags are coming to WES in January! We are excited to begin a new reading initiative for Pre-k through 2nd grade students. Every Friday, students will get to take a book buddy bag home, so they can read a book with the buddy over the weekend. The students will return the book buddy bags each Monday and get a different one the next Friday.

WES Junior Beta Club has planned a canned food drive. The food drive will last from November 1st-16th. All students are encouraged to participate. The class that has the most cans at the end of the food drive will have a pizza party. Anybody can participate by dropping donations off at Weir Elementary School during regular school hours November 1st through November 16th. All donations will be delivered to Broken Wings Ministry. This is a small and simple way to have a big impact right here in our own community. The students and staff at Weir Elementary School welcome your support in this effort to help those in need.
