They are hard workers, kind to their classmates, have a strong desire to be successful in the classroom, and are a joy to have in our school. Weir Elementary School 2nd-grade students enjoy their new indoor PE/Recess program system that combines academics and exercise. There are a lot of exercises in this program to provide students with many options for different types of exercises. Coach Young took the students through a program that showed them how to do the different exercises they would be using in class. They really enjoyed this. #WeirExcellenceShines

Weir Elementary School Thursday & Friday Sunja Douglas and Julie Chase went to VEX IQ Training at Mississippi State University. The training showed them how to build robots, problem solve, and program using VEX IQ programming. #WeirExcellenceShines
