Mrs. Fisher's gifted students started their Invention Unit by researching different inventions that interest them. Then the students collaborated and created a tessellation of their findings.

Ms. Sanford's 2nd grade PACE students at Ackerman Elementary School learned about the different types of bird beaks. They did an activity to see which beak type would be best for each kind of food (beans were beetles, noodles were snails, pipe cleaners were worms, and then seeds). Then they learned about the different parts of an egg. #teamAES

Mrs. Turnipseed's and Mrs. Box's first grade students at Ackerman Elementary School made a noun boy/girl. They made a list of nouns that are in their life, and then the class also made a noun town. #teamAES

The FCE fifth grade science class enjoyed doing an experiment learning how oil, air pollution, and fertilizer affect our ground water. They are on the path to learn how to recycle, reuse, and reduce for a better Earth!
