Weir Elementary School Retro Rectangle Art Contest Winners: 1st Place Aubrie Weeks; 2nd Place Hannah Slater, and 3rd Place Cameron Evans. Aubrie won a speaker & a watch. Hannah and Cameron won a watch. The decision was difficult for the judges because there were so many nice entries. So thankful for the parents and students who participated. All of the rectangles will be displayed in the WES Outside Classroom Garden for everyone to enjoy.

Second year Culinary Arts students competed in the Junior Chef Competition at the Lowndes County Career and Technology Center. The beef tostadas got 4th place and veggie pizza got 2nd place!

FCE wants to say thank you to the Choctaw County MS Baptist Food Ministry for the special treat today! The Pre-K and Kindergarten won the special treat for collecting the most food items for the food drive last month.
Thanks to all of our CCCTC student organizations (HOSA, FFA, SkillsUSA) that participated in the canned food drive. We are so thankful for all the support from our students, parents, and community.
Students from our Choctaw County CTC HOSA Chapter attended a Fall Leadership Conference in Pearl, MS at the Clyde Muse Center. Students had opportunities to hear guest speakers, network with industry professionals and college recruiters, and see various emergency equipment.

Mrs. Stewart's and Mrs. Lewis' class at Ackerman Elementary School filled their reward jar up again, so Lacy the hamster came to visit again. The students love watching her run around in the kiddie pool and holding her. #teamAES
