Happy 50th Day of School! FCE second graders celebrating by dressing in 50's attire, watching cartoons from the fifties, drinking coke floats, and eating delicious music record cookies while watching a video comparing their ways of living to ours now.

FCE second graders were give an allowance to use in class to pretend to order food off the Council House menu. They were able to add up their bill and subtract to find how much change they would receive back.

Skyla, a fourth grade student at French Camp Elementary, was rewarded for her reading achievement by being able to read to the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes. She chose the book "Splat the Cat". Thanks, Skyla, for being a positive role model.

Mrs. Alexander's fifth grade Class at FCE has been studying natural disasters. The students worked in groups to create a structure that could withstand the wind of a "hurricane". They had very limited supplies and time to design and build their structures. Every group passed the task!

After reading "The Little Red Fort," FCE first graders engineered forts to accomodate Ruby and her brother. The objective for each group was to plan, draw, construct, and revise their plans for producing the best fort. They did an amazing job! Pt. 3 the final product
