February is the national month for promotion of Career and Technical Education (CTE). The Health Science and Sports Medicine students of CCCTC will be providing an educational activity to 8th grade students on Monday, February 24, 2020 to promote our CTE programs. The 8th grade students will participate in mock pre-participation athletic physicals provided by 2nd year Health Science and Sports Medicine students. The activity will include screening and measurement of height, weight, body mass index calculation, resting pulse, blood pressure, vision, balance, strength, and range of motion. The students will see demonstrations of athletic taping and/or CPR-First Aid care.
